I hope you find yourself comfortable in your home away from home as you soak up the luxury, culture and convenience of eastside downtown. As the proprietor of this home, Casa Escondida was built with a labor of love, and the idea of escape and relaxation in mind. My dream when designing and building this home was to showcase my passion for travel and the luxurious materials from nature that are the very structure of this house. I’d like to think of this sanctuary as a perfect combination of vacation rental and tropical paradise. The ideas behind the home design came from personal travels and appreciation for places like: Costa Rica, Italy and Spain, and the many homes my company has built throughout the years. The design was to mirror the tropical design of the homes I’ve stayed in and the modern/industrial design of homes I’ve built locally.
I could have built a cookie-cutter home, but that’s not my style. I wanted to build something that when someone walks in, their first impression is, “wow!” and personally, I believe I’ve achieved that goal; and hopefully you will agree. This is truly my pride and joy and I’ve successfully created a luxury home where you can live comfortably whether it be with close friends, your significant other, or your family. This getaway home is your paradise for the duration of your stay and I truly hope you enjoy every aspect of it.

'“The goal was to design a comfortable home for entertaining with a contemporary and youthful vibe,” Jen explains. The 2,300 square foot home became defined by its clean lines and modern aesthetic, but its sensitive siting and attention to detail yield a home that is exceptional for its poise and modesty, making it the unassuming stand-out of the block.'

Santa Rosa House
Unlike other modern style homes that riddle the neighborhoods of East Austin, this little gem on Santa Rosa incorporates the eclectic nature of reclaimed metal siding bringing it’s own unique character and patina, a farm house feel in a customized modern space, and the convenience and accessibility of Southeast Austin. Originally designed as a custom home for a young family with the ability to cater to a vacation rental market, this house was a hot commodity when things changed and it hit the market! Whether its an investment or a custom home, we can turn it into a reality!
